Hardlinks Hard to Click Print E-mail
Written by Peter Almberg

There are a lot of charts out there and I like two services more than the others.

-Wikinvest has a nice product, WikiCharts, charts you can annotate to explain what's happening related to the stock price

-Google Chart API returns a PNG-format image in response to a URL. Several types of image can be generated, including line, bar and pie charts. You can also generate a QR Code.

A QR Code is a matrix code created by the Japanese corporation Denso-Wave in 1994. The "QR" is derived from "Quick Response". QR Codes are also known as hardlinks or physical world hyperlinks. QR Codes store text, which can be a URL, contact information such as telephone numbers and even whole verses of poems.

QR codes can be read by any device that has the appropriate software installed. Such devices range from dedicated QR code readers to mobile phones. Use your imagination to understand how and where this physical world hyperlinks can be used. Below you see the QR code for Alm 2010 homepage and if you read more than you find the hardlink to a page where you can learn more. Do not use the mouse for clicking use your mobile. The links are hard!

One of the ideas with Alm 2010 is to present enough subjective news to make Alm 2010 objective. A Multi-Subjective news site!? Alm 2010 is a non-commercial site and if you do not want me to publish something specific just tell me. I hope 2009 has started good for you.

This is the hardlink to Google Chart API for QR codes. Enable your mobile or similar to read QR codes and you will be directed to the right place automatically. Most probably it is easier for you to Google it with "qr google api" or something.
