Welcome to Alm2010; I want to update you on what is going on here in my Space and also give you a bit of information about what is going on OUT there. Financial Marketsare turbulent. I found a story on Seeking Alpha that made sense for me. Five stocks that are recommended for the longterm investor. I put them into a widget and will look at how they performed in a while. The widget shows the performance of the stocks and news from the companies. Have a look at the widget from Seeking Alpha. I also wrote a little article about Blood in the Streets because of the saying that you should buy shares when there is blood in the streets. But what if that blood is yours? I have also decided to show the video news/stories from Hoofy and Boo and CAPITALISTPIG here on the site. I think they are good and entertaining without being stupid. I like the one about Corporate Shrinking. I really want the R word on the headlines soon.Entertainment and Politicsis always on the agenda. iLL Doctrine gives a hip-hop view on politics on his blog. You can see it here. I have been playing around a little bit with livevideo.com and dailymotion.com and find dailymotion very good. You find their JukeBox, Video Wall and Video Uploader here on my site. I like the new player and that you can distribute their videos and see them on full screen. I also found some videos that I really like. You find some of them here on my front page. In the field ofBlog and Mediathere are some very cool things that you can find teasing. I bet on it. You have an application from Technorati that shows you clickable items that other people search for in real-time. If you want to show the frontpages of the newspapers in your country randomly on your blog or site you find an example here. But the thing I like most is a NewsMap that you have to see. I think it could be a valuable tool for most of us. Have fun. |
