The Beach Boys also had a huge influence. They made music that sounded like California and Kraftwerk made music that sounded like Germany.

With albums like Radio-Activity, Trans-Europe Express and The Man-Machine all released in the 70´s they critically and commercially had great success. They are still around and have lately released (2005) its first official live album titled Minimum-Maximum.
